Travel Note
Hood River is located ~1 hour drive directly east on I-84 from the Portland airport (PDX) along the Columbia River in the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. It is a beautiful journey! There are 2 options for getting there: 1. Drive 2. The Columbia Gorge Express Shuttle runs seven days a week between Portland and Hood River: https://www.ridecatbus.org/columbia-gorge-express/ A notice for folks not staying at the Columbia Gorge Hotel or one of the adjacent walkable properties (Westcliff or Columbia Cliff Villas): Ride apps like Uber and Lyft are extremely unreliable (essentially non-existent, particularly late at night) in Hood River. The following are recommended services for getting to/from your location, and it is highly recommended to book them in advance, particularly at night: Hood River Pedicab/EV Taxi https://hoodriverpedicab.com/ Gorge Taxi- https://gorgetaxi.com/
