April always shows up with heart and support, but also helps balance out Alyssa's pure and spontaneous nature with an observing and rational word of advice. They always have fun together no matter what they're doing, and Alyssa knows she’s always got April in her corner.

Michael and Andrew met each other in junior high, and have been apart of each other's lives ever since. Across three cities and two states, Andrew and Michael have remained close -- and somehow haven't killed each other. Michael is Andrew's best friend and most trusted confidant not just for his willingness to listen and offer advice, but because he's the kind of person who will exhaust all resources to help you find the absolute best version of whatever you need.
Brooke Lee

Brooke and Alyssa were originally introduced through April's group of high school friends. Where Alyssa can be a bit shy, Brooke is less so. That's why Brooke's bold and friendly demeanor felt warm, welcoming, and ultimately helped Alyssa to come out of her shell with their large group of girlfriends. While some friends came and went, Brooke and Alyssa remained close; their friendship was later solidified when they become college roommates. Now, as adults, their shared interests in literature and photography, and their similar "Type B" personalities, have helped them form a sisterhood that defies blood relation.
Richard Garrod
Groomsman
Andrew became friends with Richard in college through Michael. Andrew and Richard share many similar interests, including but not limited to video games, art, and food. Through their shared love of deep conversations, they can often be found discussing highly intellectual topics, the dumbest things possible, and everything in between. Most of all, Andrew dreams of someday being as organized and dedicated of a Pokemon master as Richard. It's important to dream big.
Brittany Jones

Though Brittany and Alyssa had the same geometry class in 2003, they didn't officially become acquainted until April introduced them. As Brooke's twin, and April's best friend, it was only a matter of time until Alyssa and Brittany became close with one another. When the four "sisters" moved in together in college, it became apparent to Alyssa and Brittany why they say opposites attract. Their shared love of music, laughter, and not taking life too seriously (trying, at least!) have become the foundation of a beautiful friendship.
Adam Quintana

Andrew and Adam first met in their Freshman English class, and became easy friends. Unbeknownst to either of them, Adam's randomly-assigned roommate was Richard. After realizing their shared connection later in the semester, the guys began hanging out as a group, solidifying their bond. Since college, Adam has become a trusted source of guidance and advice for Andrew both in his personal and professional life. Above all else, Adam's positive outlook has shaped Andrew's ability to approach each new phase of life with curiosity and the desire to keep growing and evolving.
Corbin Hughes

As a friend of Andrew's from college, Corbin has watched Alyssa and Andrew as their relationship has blossomed over the last decade. Whether he was playing the role of "Spencer" as the single-greatest character in their Dungeons & Dragons campaign or wrestling in a blue bodysuit, Corbin's ability to perform under pressure was evident. However, it was his sweet heart, kind nature, and shared values that made him such an easy choice as our officiant. Corbin is a true champion of love with a spectacular sense of humor, and we couldn't imagine anyone else standing up there with us.
