Forest Park
Forest Park was our favorite place to do our Sunday morning walk/hikes together. It has great cloud and sun coverage, lots of trails, and abundant wildlife.
King Burrito
One of Austin's favorite places from high school, that quickly become our favorite place to grab a quick, delicious meal!
Aurora Colony Vineyards & Winery
Our wedding venue! But they do have an incredible tasting room, with lots of outdoor seating and a gorgeous pond to enjoy while sipping on wine and eating a charcuterie board!
Tigard Taphouse
We love an outdoor brewery, and nothing is better than this local taphouse that houses beers from many local Oregon breweries! They even have trivia nights, board games for use, and on special days live music!
Twenty First Ave Kitchen & Bar
Everyone loves a karaoke bar and we especially love this one! It's close to our first apartment we ever shared and in a really fun area of Portland to grab food or go to other bars!
Pittock Mansion
If you want to talk about gorgeous Portland views, then you have to drive up to Pittock Mansion! It is free to walk around the grounds and enjoy the view, and you can also pay for a tour of the house if you wanted! An easy, but highly recommended Portland stop!
Scotch Lodge
Whether you like Scotch & Whiskey, or don't, this location has amazing food, a great ambience, and incredible bartenders. It's a really nice spot for a fun new date night!
Multnomah Falls
If you have time, we 10000% recommend the hike up to Multnomah Falls. It leaves us breathless every time we have seen it (not only the view but the elevation of the hike too haha)! There are plenty of switchbacks which allows for lots of resting stops.
Loyal Legion
The second location that Loyal Legion opened up, and the birthplace of Austin's love for scotch sours and penicillins! The bar is huge with ample indoor and outdoor seating! It's located in older downtown area of Beaverton, which allows for a nice walk around the surrounding shops before or after a pint. They even have a speakeasy upstairs if you want to call to get a reservation there before going!
Pine State Biscuits | NW 23rd
Delicious breakfast option with locations on the west and east side! We used to order ahead from our apartment and walk over to pick our food up! Some of our favorite mornings were over a pine state biscuit sandwich.
The South Store Cafe
This is not only one of Maddy's favorite places to grab brunch, but it's also the place that Austin and Maddy spent 4 hours at talking and getting to know each other the summer before they started dating!
Avidity Wines
One of the favorite wineries of mother of the groom, mother of the bride, and bride's sister-in-law. The views are spectacular, the wine is out of this world delicious, and during warmer months they have food trucks and live music!
Tualatin Island Greens
This smaller driving range has a phenomenal mini golf course that is only $6 per person! It is one of our favorite outdoor dates where we can have fun and be competitive.
Council Crest Park
If you're looking for a park with lots of trails, stunning views of Portland, and close to the city, this is it! It doesn't hurt that driving up to the park you get to look at some of the prettiest houses in all of Portland.
