If you ask us, we will each tell you a different first time of when we met. For me, we met at my best friends house party during winter term my junior year, Austin's sophomore. Austin was there with all of his fraternity brothers and he said a simple hello to me. I confidently responded hello and called Austin by the wrong name. The rest of the night we spent hanging out, drinking, and talking. He walked me back to his fraternity to get a jacket and then walked me all the way home. We didn't talk for a few weeks due to winter break, but once we got back to school we really started to spend more time together and get to know each other. I knew I wanted to date him WAYYY before he knew (haha), but I also knew he was someone worth waiting for. Austin will tell you we met his freshmen year, during a Sing practice. He'll talk about how the guys weren't taking the competition seriously, and because of that I yelled at them at the end of practice. His favorite part of the story to tell is when they left practice he told all his friends that, and I quote, "She could yell at me again". Well he ended up getting his wish, just with a lot less yelling! We have been in each others lives since 2016, dating 2017, and engaged since 2021! We can't wait to take this next step in life together and have you all support us during it! Welcome to the party and LET'S GET MARRIED!
