This is the closest hotel to the Greenpoint Loft, where we are getting married, it's just a few blocks walk. It's in the heart of Greenpoint close to restaurants and bars and shopping. This hotel is in Manhattan's East Village about a 20 minute cab ride to the wedding venue, The Greenpoint Loft. For those who prefer Manhattan- this is a great neighborhood full of bars, restaurants, shopping, bakeries, and boutiques.

There are AirBnB or VRBO apartment rentals available. For the closest neighborhoods to the venue, search in Greenpoint, Brooklyn or Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If you prefer to stay in Manhattan then the closest neighborhoods to Brooklyn would be the East Village or Lower East Side. Flight

LGA or JFK

LaGuardia is the closest airport to Greenpoint Brooklyn or Williamsburg Brooklyn (about a 20 minute cab ride). JFK is further out and is approximately a 40 minute cab ride to Williamsburg or Greenpoint and a bit over an hour to Manhattan (depending on the neighborhood).

Train

Amtrak

If you live on the East Coast and decide that Amtrak is the best mode of transport then your destination will be Penn Station, New York. You'll arrive in Midtown Manhattan on 34th & 8th. Much of Penn Station that receives Amtrak trains has been recently renovated and is much improved from it's former gloominess. Cab rides vary depending on traffic, time of day, and destination. Brooklyn is about a 30-40 minute cab ride while downtown is about a 15-20 minute cab ride. All major subway lines run through Penn as well.
