How We Met
Band Nerds
We met in 1974 when we both joined the band at Sedgefield Junior High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. We continued our friendship in band and orchestra at Myers Park High School, and into the music program at Appalachian State University. Many years later, with the help of a dear friend, we were reunited. With lots of life lessons learned, we were ready to spend the rest of our lives with each other, singing and dancing around the house and making endless corny jokes. We rejoice in one another each and every day, and are so grateful that God (and Bellino Evans) has brought us back together.
