This is a religious function so please dress appropriately so that you can comfortably and with decency sit on the carpeted floor. Longer sleeves and pants are preferred. All attendants should anticipate covering their heads upon entering the gurdwara. Prepare to remove your shoes before entering the gurdwara.
There will be a few light bites provided at the function.

This is a more formal event. For women, consider choosing to wear a kurta suit, lehengas, or saris, and pair with a dupatta/chunni (decorative stole). For men, consider wearing formal options, like a traditional western suit, a gandhgala jacket and formal trousers, or a traditional kurta suit. Be colorful! Just make sure to avoid pinks and reds (that is saved for the bride and groom).
