All guests are welcome to stay at the suggested hotels, however, there are other surrounding hotels in the Charlottesville area. If you are looking to get other accommodations closer to the venue, there are numerous proprietress available for rent on websites such as "Airbnb" and "Vrbo" that are within minutes of the venue!
Flight
Howardsville is located within 2 hours of various airports in Virginia. We recommend flying into Richmond, VA being the closest direct flight and drive to the venue, however here are other airport choices as well! -Richmond, VA (RIC) - 100 Miles / ~1 hour 45 minutes -Dulles, VA (IAD) - 130 Miles / ~2 hours 30 minutes -Reagan National (DCA) - 140 Miles / ~2 hours 30 minutes Smaller Airports (Likely do not service direct but are much closer) -Charlottesville Albemarle Airport - 40 Miles / ~45 minutes -Lynchburg Regional Airport - 55 Miles / ~1 hour -Roanoke Blacksburg Regional Airport - 105 Miles / ~2 hours
Rental Car
As out of town guests will be flying into various airports, we will not recommend any specific car rental companies. However, we do recommend getting a rental vehicle versus attempting to ride share if you are flying into one of Virginias major airports, as trying to call a Lyft or Uber may be difficult. The area around our wedding venue is filled with breathtaking views and lots to do, so if you plan to stay in the area for a few days, we recommend getting a rental car!
