We met in December of 2016 in San Francisco in a very "millennial" way - the JSWIPE dating app! Starting off long distance, we spent 1.5 years making trips between Santa Barbara, where Michelle went to school, and Reno, where Alex moved for work. Once Michelle graduated college, she took a leap of faith and joined Alex in Reno in their first home. In Reno, we learned what it takes to live together, began raising our two "fur babies" Fiona (Cat), and Madeline (Dog), and fell further in love. One day we decided that we wanted to be together for the rest of our lives, and Alex proposed in May of 2020 on the beach in beautiful Lake Tahoe. We have been waiting for almost two years through most of the COVID pandemic, so that we can all celebrate together with family and friends from near and far. We are excited to celebrate with all of you!
