Welcome Dinner & Mehndi

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Resort Wear and Indian Clothes. Come dressed in your bright, airy clothes as your glamorous self. It is likely to be chilly at night so be sure to bring a cardigan or a shawl!

This is a time for our guests to know each other and get their Mehndi (Henna) done. It is traditional in Hindu culture for Brides to have Mehndi adorned on their hands and feet. Mehndi is a natural, medicinal herb utilized to cool the body and relieve the Bride of any stress before her big day. The groom's name is hidden amidst the art. Tradition states that if the groom can't find his name, the wedding cannot happen (better find your magnifying glasses, Nate!) Be ready for a night of vibrant Mexican Street Food, a glorious sunset, and laughs all around.

Sangeet

6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Indian Clothes REQUIRED. (Just kidding, heavily recommended). Or bright colors.

"Of course you can dance" -Tequila Says Get your lenghas on and sherwarnis buttoned for a night of dancing on the beach. The Sangeet is hands down one of the most fun and looked up to pre-wedding ceremonies that is a ride full of fun and frolic. You can amp up your fun quotient and make this ceremony one heck of a rise for all the wedding guests involved. Sangeet means "music" and also "sung together". In essence, it is a dance/singing/talent competition between the two families. Friends and families are encouraged to join groups and come up with choreographed routines, a skit, a roast, or even a one-woman (or man) stand up routine. Can't wait to see what you bring on!
