Michelle & Matthew

    Welcome
    Wedding Party

Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Courtney Kemp

Maid of Honor

Courtney and Michelle grew up together in La Grande, OR. In high school, they became quick best friends and have been like family ever since. Courtney's favorite memories of Michelle and Alex include watching Alex grow up, eating way too much of Michelle's delicious cooking, and laughing about the little things.

Alexander Clark

Best Little Man

What I love most about being a family is spending time together, going on road trips, and vacations. Matt is my favorite video game partner and Momma is my favorite cuddle buddy. I love my Momma and Matty moo Patty poo more than they love me, but I think the wedding is going to be boring except for the cake!

Sarah Clark

Sister of the Bride

Michelle always asked our parents for a little sister so she could get a bunk bed! Well, here we are 20 years later - she never got her bunk bed but she did get a permanent best friend. Growing up she would tease me as all sisters do, but over the past 5 years we have grown so close. Michelle has always been my biggest motivator and strongest role model, impacting my life more than I ever realized.

Kelly Gau

Best Man

Without giving up too much insight to be used into future speeches... Growing up as Matt’s younger brother I was taught the lessons of David and Goliath on a daily basis. Though I had my victories, his were ones that inflicted the most damage. We did not completely share the same interests as kids, but through time we have built a stronger relationship that continues today.

Maria Gau

Sister of the Groom

I always hoped my brother would find someone as intelligent, and hopefully better looking than him. I’m happy to report that Michelle has far exceeded my expectations! It has been so much fun getting to know her and Alex, and they have seamlessly fit into the Gau family. We are so lucky to have them both, and I can’t wait for it to become official in October!

Jeff Wright

Groomsman

Matt and I met about 7 years ago when we were both working for Snohomish County Fire District 26. Things got real after a golf trip and a few too many 1st street lemonades, HA! The rest is history, from couch surfing to late night manhattans and Xbox with very important obligations in the morning. Never a dull moment. Love ya brother!

Katie Palmus

Bridesmaid

I met Michelle within my first few months of being a new nurse. As I began working with her more, I saw the kind heart she carried. Our work family relished watching her love grow with Matt and was thrilled when he popped the question. I'm so excited for the two of them and all the adventures their future holds.

Dan Tate

Groomsman

Matt was the first person I really got to know when I first moved to Kennewick. He and I spent several months working days together before we left for academy. Being locked in the library doing computer based training for hours on end, we had a lot of time to know each other. We quickly realized we had a lot in common, and our shared passion of communicating in terrible impressions and movie quotes blossomed into a great friendship. From living together to working together, the last 3 years have been a blast.

Vivi Misch

Bridesmaid

I met Michelle through Matt right when they started dating. I hoped he would find a super nice and fun girlfriend that we can become friends with and hang out. Well, he found someone even better. We have grown our friendship over the past two years getting together with the kids while our guys were working. Michelle is not only a great friend but she is someone you can trust and count on at any time.

Groomsman

Melissa Hammack

Bridesmaid

Michelle and I met through Brittney, a mutual friend, when she was in nursing school. I was able to really get to know her when she started working with me in FBC. Her heart for people and her capacity to love others were apparent from the beginning, and I love that about her! With Matt, she found a partner with a heart to serve others. I’m so excited to watch them build their family together!

Alan Christou

Groomsman

Matt and I met in Gold Bar. We were both living at the fire station at the time. I remember Matt being kinda dorky but always down to kick loose and have a few cold ones behind the Connex box or play Call of Duty until the early hours of the morning. Matt has always been someone you could count on when you needed a hand. I am very honored to call him a friend and a brother.

Tiffany Kelsey

Bridesmaid

I met, and have had the privilege of working with Michelle on the family birthing unit. Her passion, spunk, and drive for this job and our patients are something that I admire. Michelle and I have the same soft heart and ability to get teary at anything we find adorable, sad, funny...what have you! I’m grateful for our friendship and bond and was so incredibly happy to hear when she met Matt. I have loved watching their love bloom. Michelle deserves nothing but the best. She has overcome incredible adversity in her life and I feel blessed to be her friend and included in her and Matt’s special day!

Kerry Doran

Groomsman

Matt and I first met at the Goldbar Fire Department in 2007. We quickly became friends and had lots of good times on D shift with some very long nights on A54 listening to Posion and White Snake on the Radio. He is a great friend and although we don't get see each other as often any more our friendship hasn't missed a beat.

Bree Small

Bridesmaid

Michelle and I first met at Trios when we were brand new labor and delivery nurses. But our relationship and bond didn't really start until we took a road trip together to Spokane for a work class. We laughed, we cried, we nearly died in a snow storm on the way up in my little car. It was on this trip I got to really know Michelle and learn how beautiful she is. Her heart is so grand and so full of love, it's truly a blessing to get to be by her side on her special day and watch her marry the man of her dreams.

Travis Seamans

Groomsman

Matt and I met through games of bloody knuckles while sitting through drivers education classes together! And our bond grew through fire explorers where we both eventually met our ultimate goal of career fire medics! We have always kept touch throughout the years! Also never play with model rocket engines while wearing a brand new North Face coat! Matt can share that story!

Brittany Cartwright

Bridesmaid

Michelle and I met while taking Biology 101 as a pre-requisite for nursing school. I'm so grateful that I met Michelle in that class because after that we took statistics, and I don't think I would have ever passed without her! Michelle is such a thoughtful and kind person. I'm so incredibly blessed to be able to call her my friend and be included in her wedding.
