Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport [OPO]
Uber and Bolt are widely available in Porto, and a car ride from the airport to center city is about 30 minutes
Porto boasts an extensive public transportation system operated by the Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos do Porto (which includes the metro, buses, and trams). The metro will get you to most major attractions. Uber and Bolt are both another great option for getting around. Fares are relatively inexpensive compared to the US and other European countries. Renting a car is not recommended for getting around the city. Porto's older neighborhoods have narrow, winding, and poorly marked streets that can be challenging to navigate, especially for unfamiliar drivers. Parking can also be difficult and expensive to find.
Formal, Black Tie optional.
