Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors, so please dress comfortably and plan for summer weather. The reception and dinner will be indoors in a covered converted barn.

What’s the weather like in August?

Answer

Maryland summers can be hot and sunny, with the occasional evening breeze or shower. We recommend light clothing, sunscreen, and maybe a small fan or hat to stay cool. For UK guests think Spain in August and bring lots of sunscreen!

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Each invitation includes a QR code that links directly to our online RSVP form. Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera to access the form. You’ll be able to RSVP and let us know about any dietary restrictions or special requests directly online. Please complete your RSVP by the date noted on your invitation so we can finalise guest numbers and meal planning.

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only event due to space restrictions at the venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is classic wedding attire — think smart and festive! Dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates for women. Suits, dress shirts, or smart trousers and jackets for men. Light, breathable fabrics are best for August weather, and we recommend sunscreen, sunglasses, and comfy shoes since there will be grass and uneven ground.

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Absolutely! We’ll have a Cocktail Hour following the ceremony, then a full meal and drinks throughout the reception. Come ready to eat, drink, and celebrate!

How do I get to and from the venue?

Answer

Uber and Lyft will be the best way to get to the venue. There is limited parking onsite. To make sure everyone enjoys themselves and has a safe ride back, courtesy shuttles will be provided at the end of the night with drop off at the hotel.

Are there any events before the wedding day?

Answer

Yes! There will be a Happy Hour Wedding Weekend Kick Off on Friday at Brookville Beer Farm and welcome drinks at Frederick Social in downtown Frederick! Please see separate event pages for more details.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

We recommend using uber or lyft as parking at the venue is limited and will be first come first serve!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ll have a professional photographer capturing the day, so we kindly ask guests to keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony and just be present in the moment. After the ceremony please snap away!! We will have QR codes dotted around so guests can share any photos before and after the ceremony of the wedding

Will UK Guests need a Visa?

Answer

Most UK passport holders travelling to the USA can enter using an ESTA under the Visa Waiver Programme. Please apply in advance via the official website: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/
