Hannah and Noah met at the University of Wisconsin River Falls in a way that still feels almost too perfect to be real. Noah was a hockey player and Hannah was a Zamboni driver, which honestly sounds more like the opening scene of a Hallmark movie than real life. What started as a friendship slowly turned into something deeper as they realized they shared the same energy and a quiet understanding shaped by both having lost a parent. From the beginning, everything felt easy. There was never a question of whether it worked. It just did. A few months into dating, Noah began his professional hockey career with the Fort Wayne Komets. That meant a short stretch of long distance, about two months, but even early on it was clear they would make it work. They stayed connected through constant calls and late night conversations and made the most of every visit. Hannah traveled back and forth whenever she could, and during that time she brought home a puppy named Murphy to keep her company and bring some joy and chaos to the quieter days apart. Even with a little distance, they never felt far from each other. Once Noah’s first season wrapped up, their adventure really began. Over the years, they found themselves calling Woodbury (x2), Fort Wayne (x2), Burnsville, Salt Lake City, and now St. Paul Park home. No matter where they landed, they built a life that felt steady and familiar simply because they were together. They explored new cities side by side, found every hibachi restaurant within driving distance (iykyk), and filled their days with plans Hannah always managed to book for the two of them. They like to joke that any couple who can move that many times together can handle just about anything. Being away from everyone else for long stretches only confirmed what they already knew. Home is not a place. It is a person. Together, Hannah and Noah have built a relationship grounded in laughter, trust, and showing up for each other in both big and small ways. They have weathered hard moments, celebrated victories, and found comfort in simply being together at the end of the day. Whether it is spontaneous adventures or quiet nights in, they have always felt like a team. In June 2025, during a trip to Marco Island, Noah asked Hannah to marry him on the beach. After she said yes, their friends and family appeared from behind the bushes in true rom com fashion, turning an already perfect moment into a celebration they will never forget. They have not stopped looking forward to their wedding day since. On September 19, 2026, they will say I do and begin their next chapter as husband and wife, officially becoming a team for life.
