Jeff was relocated to Denver for work while Gogo relocated to Denver for a fresh start. As fate would have it, the two were desk mates at Deckers Brands. What started off as a pleasant work relationship - Gogo asking Jeff for Excel help and Jeff offering her the occasional pistachio, turned into casual group hangs getting to know their new city. Lo and behold, Jeff was crushing hard while Gogo was oblivious and kept reminding herself "dating a coworker is probably not your best idea". That didn't last long because by Summer, they had their first official date and haven't stopped hangin' out since!

Jeff asked Gogo if she wanted to go on a hike with their dog, Fin - the answer is always yes. The three of them drove up to one of their favorite trails off of East Camino Cielo Road in Santa Barbara (thank you Emily for sharing this gem). When they got to the lookout, Gogo was watching Fin and turned around to Jeff on one knee. The wildflowers were blooming and it was a perfect afternoon! Although the proposal was exactly what both of them wanted, their favorite part was getting to show Jeff's Grandpa Jack the ring because they designed it with the center stone from his wife Joyce's ring. It means the world to them knowing Jack approved and that the love he shared with Joyce will always be a part of their story.
