On May 1, 2024, We met by complete chance during a motorcycle ride to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. Gabi was originally heading to Richmond, her mom convinced her to ride to Tsawwassen instead. Ash wasn’t planning to go on that ride either—he was persuaded by his friends to come along. Ash was riding fast (and maybe showing off a little), while Gabi, a fan of all things fast and thrilling, couldn’t resist capturing the moment on video. Not long after, Ash came over and asked for her Instagram to get the clips. Gabi felt her Instagram was a bit too personal, so she shared her phone number instead—and from that moment on, he never stopped talking to her. P.S. He got her Instagram later Our shared love for motorcycles and adventures brought us together that day, and we've been riding side by side ever since.
On April 5, 2025, just 3 months after Ash officially asked Gabi to be his girlfriend, he surprised her with a proposal in the breathtaking paradise of Los Cabos, Mexico. What began as a fun birthday getaway for Gabi and her mom Nicole, turned into a memory that would change their lives forever. Ash had planned everything in secret, he hired a photographer to capture a photo tour around the resort and along the beach, with each stop carefully chosen to lead Gabi closer to the final destination: a glowing “Marry Me” sign on the sand. Nicole, with all her love and incredible acting skills, helped keep the surprise under wraps—distracting Gabi and making sure she didn’t suspect a thing. As they approached the final spot on the beach, the moment hit. The camera caught Gabi’s face the instant she realized the proposal was for her, and her shock and joy were unforgettable. Ash, full of nerves and goosebumps, dropped to one knee and asked her to be his forever. He proposed with a custom-designed ring that holds both of their birthstones—amethyst and aquamarine—engraved with the Hindi words “Mera Dil” (My Heart), a symbol of their love, heritage, and the journey they’ve shared. It was the perfect start to forever... surrounded by love, laughter, and the quiet assurance that this was exactly where God meant us to be.
