Wedding Party

Rachel Koetje

Bridesmaid

Kevy has been my best friend since middle school, where we bonded over sports and embraced our full-on band-nerd phase through high school. She’s the outgoing spark, I’m the quiet one, and somehow we’ve always been the perfect balance. I admire her, and I’m endlessly grateful for our friendship—and for every laugh, adventure, and late-night conversation we’ve shared. I can’t wait to support her during this new chapter in her life.

Groomsman

You could say Gabe and I had your typical sibling rivalry growing up. Whether we were jumping on the tramp in the back yard or rage baiting each other over multi-player DS's games, we always found a way to entertain one another. I would never admit it to him then, but can say now that he has always been one of my best friends. It has been a blessing to see Gabe grow into the man he is today and I am so proud to have him as both a brother and a friend. I'm thankful for the love and support he has given me throughout life and I look forward to seeing him continue to grow along side his beautiful and loving fiancé Kevy. Gabe's potential in limitless and I know more great things are yet to come.

Gates Wesley

Bridesmaid

I am the oldest of the four sisters. We are all very loud and proud, but Kevy is the loudest and proudest. Her personality fills even the most somber of rooms with joy. What I admire most is her ability to make friends with absolutely anyone. She is always eager and willing to listen to everyone's story, no matter how short or long. She invests herself in the people around her, whether she's known you for 5 years or 5 minutes. There is no doubt in my mind that marriage will only enhance the love Kevy and Gabe have for each other and I look forward to witnessing the life they build with one another.

Groomsman

Gabe and I met back in middle school when we were both in band, and I knew right away we’d be friends. At first, it was music that brought us together, but since then we’ve spent countless hours playing games, talking about all things computers, even diving deep into religious theology. Our friendship’s been built over years of goofing off, sticking together, and just being there for one another.

Morgan Domeier

Bridesmaid

As the second oldest sister of four, I’ve been a victim of Kevy’s antics since the day she arrived. Life with Kevy is a whirlwind of stolen clothes, irritating pranks, and constant laughter. She’s kept me on my toes for years, but she’s also been one of my greatest sources of comfort and joy. I’m so proud of the woman she’s become and can’t wait to see her start this new & exciting journey with Gabe.

I don’t remember how it happened exactly but one day we were just laughing and gaming together. For any long car ride, Gabe is always my first pick to travel with. The hours are full of meaningful and senseless conversation, be it about faith, work or even a fictional TV show we came up with as kids. With all that being said, I wish the soon to be married couple a long life filled with love and cherished moments.

Cade Domeier

Bridesmaid

I may be the youngest sister, but let’s be real— Kevy is the one who matches my energy with nonsense, vocal stims, and constant back-and-forth bullying like it’s a competitive sport. Whether we’re destroying a seafood boil or she’s begging me to play Ticket to Ride (again), she’ll always be my sister. Kevy is my favorite person to mess with, and as much as I hate to admit it, probably one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. Thanks for all the laughs, noise, and absolutely unhinged karaoke—I wouldn’t trade our chaos for anything.

Presten Rodney

Groomsman

Gabe and I also met in middle school. Honestly, I don’t even remember meeting Gabe, one day he was just in my life. Joking, laughing, gaming, all of it seemed so natural. I never have to force or fake anything but just be ourselves around one another. Recently we have started a trend of trying new things together whether it be drinks, hobbies, or anything in between and those new experiences bring us closer everyday. I can’t imagine my life without Gabe. I am grateful for who I’ve become and what I’ve accomplished, and I believe I could never have done it without Gabe.

Jackie Domeier

Bridesmaid

Kevy isn’t just my cousin — she’s been my built-in best friend my entire life. We grew up just minutes from each other, which meant we shared almost everything: school hallways, church activities, family gatherings, and countless everyday memories in between. Some of my favorite chapters of life have her written all over them and I am beyond excited to watch her take on this new chapter in life with Gabe.

Groomsman

Growing up as the younger brother, I've spent most of my life looking up to Gabe, but that was only until I made it into high school. I've loved our time across the hall from each other playing video games or board games together. But what I appricate most is just hanging out in our rooms talking about life. We've always been there for each other, (sometimes...). I even followed him to GVSU, but he decided to graduate right before I got there. With all that being said, no matter how much time passes, you'll always be my brother.
