Our venue requires that all guests are vaccinated against COVID-19, including boosters when eligible. Although this is a requirement of the venue, we are also happy that we and our guests will be keeping each other safe.
It's late June in Brooklyn and we're expecting you to sit through an outdoor ceremony and then dance the late afternoon/early evening away. Floral patterns of all description are encouraged. This would be a great time to pull out that linen suit you've been saving, or perhaps something in a seersucker. Think enchanted forest meets garden party meets summer in Brooklyn.
Our wedding venue is nestled inside Prospect Park and parking is therefore limited to nonexistent. We recommend that folks use public transportation or a rideshare app to get close to the venue. There is a small public parking lot in the park near the venue, but parking cannot be guaranteed. Please let us know if accessibility is an issue.
We are working with a fantastic photographer and we are looking forward to sharing some beautiful photos with you! In order to make this dream come true, please don't use your phone during the ceremony to take pictures (or for any other reason--the NY Times crossword can wait).
Yes! It absolutely is and we are honored to be celebrating our love and community while so many others in New York City are doing the same. Official NYC Pride events are detailed on https://www.nycpride.org/ and, even if you are not partaking in the festivities, be mindful that the march and celebration may make travel in certain areas of Manhattan take longer. If you do march, wear sunscreen and stay hydrated!
