The short answer is no. Italy is extremely well connected by public transportation, with trains and buses running throughout & between all major cities. The historical center of Florence is small & walkable, and has for the most part been pedestrianized. We will be providing transportation for our guests to and from the wedding venue. Please keep in mind, if you choose to rent a car that you obtain the necessary driving permits & insurance documents required in Italy.
Italy uses the Euro. We recommend exchanging cash at your bank for the best exchange rate prior to traveling and/or utilizing a credit card without any foreign transaction fees while traveling. Remember to turn on any travel settings for cards you plan to use.
