Ceremony

1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

The ceremony will take place in the theatre. There will be reserved seating for family members, but otherwise, please feel free to sit anywhere you like (within reason!) The ceremony likely won't take an hour -- we just wanted to give ourselves wiggle room, just in case!

Movie @ the Metro!

2:30 pm - 4:30 pm

While we take photos, we’d love for you to enjoy one of our favourite movies! (This is completely optional — please see our list of things to do in Garneau/on Whyte if you’d like to step out and explore!)

Reception

The reception will be held in the Main Hall of Strathcona Community League. It’s located about 7 blocks east of the Metro, or about 20 minutes by foot (if you’re taking it slow!) When arriving at the venue, you can enter via the north side of the building, then take the ramp up to the 2nd floor. If walking, we highly recommend taking Saskatchewan Drive for some stunning views of the skyline and river valley! Parking is also available onsite.

Dinner and Drinks

6:00 pm

We will be having a buffet-style dinner at the reception, provided by Under the High Wheel. We will have the following dishes available -- please contact us if you have any questions, or dietary restrictions/concerns. - Organic green salad - Couscous with mint and pistachio - Roasted potatoes - Ginger lemon chicken - BBQ brisket Drinks will also be provided. Guests will receive 2 drink tickets, and can purchase further drinks at the cash bar.
