As soon as possible! Memorial Day weekend is a very popular time on Nantucket, and hotels, flights, and ferry tickets tend to sell out quickly. We strongly recommend booking your travel and accommodations well in advance to ensure availability and preferred pricing.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors. In case of inclement weather, it will be held indoors at Toppers restaurant. The reception will be held outside under a fully floored tent—rain or shine.
We kindly request formal attire—suits and long dresses encouraged. Weather permitting, cocktail hour will be on the lawn, so please keep that in mind for footwear.
Yes! Sprinter vans will pick up guests at the White Elephant Hotel and the Jared Coffin House on Saturday to bring you to the Wauwinet. Return vans back to town will also be available throughout the night, with service ending at midnight.
Nantucket in May can be beautiful but unpredictable. Bring layers, as evenings may be chilly or breezy, especially near the water. A raincoat is also recommended...although we hope not necessary :)
A car isn’t necessary for most guests (or recommended as parking is very limited). The island is very walkable, and taxis, Ubers, bikes, and hotel shuttles are readily available.
While we truly adore your children, the wedding will be an adults only celebration. If your kids are traveling with you to Nantucket there are several babysitting services on island.
