Question

If we decide to extend our trip, where else could we go in Washington?

Answer

San Juan Islands: Take a ferry and explore charming towns, whale watching, and outdoor activities. *Note - you have to schedule your ferry ticket ahead of time for all San Juan Islands. Leavenworth: A Bavarian-themed village nestled in the Cascades, perfect for shopping and dining. Whidbey Island: Enjoy scenic drives, beaches, and quaint shops. Another one of our favorite islands and could be a possible day trip from Seattle! Be sure to check out Deception Pass on your way off the island if you decide you don't want to take the ferry back.

Olympic National Park: Just a ferry ride away, with diverse ecosystems, stunning mountains, and coastal scenery. Mount Rainier National Park: Known for its stunning scenery and hiking trails. (This park recently started requiring reservations ahead of time, we suggest looking into this before planning your trip.) North Cascades National Park: Renowned for its rugged beauty, hiking trails, and wildflower-filled meadows. Note: A ticket may be required to enter the parks, so check ahead!
