For our Michigan family and friends, Delta offers a direct 50-minute flight from Detroit (DTW) straight into Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport (LEX) which is a 10-minute drive to downtown Lexington. You can also look into flying into Cincinnati (CVG) or Louisville (SDF) and renting a car, both airports are a 60-minute drive to Lexington. Buying flights early is key! If you prefer to hit the road, the drive is very manageable, roughly a 5-hour drive from Ann Arbor and about 6 hours from Lansing. We recommend checking out the hotels located Downtown, as there are plenty of options at different price points and it keeps you close to the weekend's festivities. However, staying downtown is certainly not necessary. Lexington is easy to navigate, so feel free to stay wherever you feel most at home. If you are traveling with a group, an Airbnb or VRBO is also a wonderful idea! Ultimately, whatever choice fits your budget and style best is perfect for us. We’re just so happy to have you here!
