Named for the patron saint of debauchery, San Simon is a cute little alleyway bar with craft cocktails we never miss on taking friends when they visit (peep the alter to him inside!). Also bonus points if you find the goat on the roof. If you like tequila, Bryna highly recommends "The Last Blockbuster" cocktail.
Yep. It's literally the last Blockbuster and it's right in town (about 8 mins from our house) You can rent movies, pickup merch, take a photo and remember the good ol' days. Also... it smells exactly like you remember.
Northern Thai food (mostly noodles and curries) without the frills. Everything on the menu is bonkers delicious and because of this, you'll need a reservation for dinner. Lunch is walk-in and they do take out but no delivery. If you go, try the "Thai me up" cocktail with butterfly pea flowers, the Thai Basil noodles (mild) with the Sukiyaki (spicy, watch out!)
Cute little house-converted-cafe near the river trail nestled between the shops on Wall St (downtown) and the river. We love grabbing a matcha or coffee here and then walking down to the river trail (right out the front door and to the right) through Drake park to take in the geese, the sun, and obviously... the dogs.
This is our favorite recent date night spot. 10/10 and perfect location to start a night out on the town.
Best burger in Bend. Possibly in the world (according to us). It's a smash burger with no frills. They are two locations (below) but check the hours for the food cart. The Podski (food cart) 536 NW Arizona Ave Bend, OR Downtown Bend (brick and mortar sit down location) 1033 NW Bond St Suite 100 Bend, OR
