A quick gathering to share drinks and hugs for those entering town for the weekend. We'll have a private room (Father Luke's Room) where Mike and I spent one of our first dates seeing live music and dancing (our favorite activity still). A little about McMenamins: The Old St. Francis School, conveniently located in downtown Bend, was transformed from 1936 Catholic schoolhouse to a hotel complete with classrooms-turned-hotel rooms, a pub, brewery, and a movie theatre. The artwork and nod to times gone by in here are not wasted on us, and the vintage band poster style works found around the property are what inspired our wedding posters. All around the property you'll find unique custom art, light fixtures, and even a secret "broom closet" bar in the attic of one of the building. We love it here and are excited to share on of our favorite places in Bend with our guests.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON FOOTWEAR: Please note the venue is in the woods. Literally. Walking areas have uneven ground and mulch. Please keep that in mind when choosing footwear.
Attire: Funky formal. Feel free to wear whatever makes you feel like dancing and having a good time. Colors, prints, textures, are welcome! What to expect: 4pm: Ceremony 5-6pm: Cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres 6pm: Seated dinner (please text Bryna with allergy/dietary needs) 7pm-10pm: Everything else

If you want to do a river float, you can make reservations at the site above. Details: The river tube rental is about 10 mins from our house (with a big public parking lot) and after drop-in, the whole float takes about 60-90 mins depending on the current. It's our favorite summer activity and a beautiful way to see the heart of Bend. We usually listen to music, crack a can, and enjoy seeing dogs and ducks free swimming... and just enjoy nature together on the river. Tube rental + shuttle back to cars is about $25/person.
