1. Fly into Seattle We recommend flying into Seattle–Tacoma International Airport (SEA). 2. Rideshare to downtown Seattle From SEA, take a Lyft/Uber to the waterfront (Colman Dock at 801 Alaskan Way, Seattle). 3. Board the ferry to Bainbridge Island Board the Washington State Ferry to Bainbridge Island, a scenic 25-minute crossing through Puget Sound. Ferries depart regularly throughout the day. Walk-on passengers seldom encounter delays, though we recommend checking the schedule in advance (wsdot.wa.gov/ferries). 4. Arrive at IslandWood Upon arriving at the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal in Winslow, a short taxi or car ride of ~10–15 minutes will bring you to our venue. IslandWood
A funky thing about IslandWood (the venue) is that some of the guests will be able to stay onsite with the bride & groom for the entire weekend. While we'd much prefer to have everyone stay at IslandWood with us, it has limited capacity (& the accommodations are a bit spartan). Because we feel more comfortable sticking the 30 somethings with the conditions at "adult camp", our friends are invited and encouraged to stay on site at IslandWood. Flat rate of $315 / night or $630 for the weekend. For friends with kiddos, your rooms include an additional queen bed and/or bunk beds with your own bathroom. For family (& family friends), we've found the best of the best accommodations near the venue, either at hotels or Airbnbs. We even pre-booked a few Airbnbs for large and small families. The Eagle Harbor Inn: a Boutique Hotel
A petite boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Winslow, steps from the ferry, main street shops, restaurants, the marina, and a waterfront park. Five one-of-a-kind rooms and two custom townhomes are built around a garden-filled courtyard, giving it a charming, European village feel. The most walkable option on the island. Ideal for guests who want easy ferry access. As low as $260 / night.

The Inn at Pleasant Beach
Located on the south end of Bainbridge Island overlooking Puget Sound's Rich Passage, the Inn sits within Pleasant Beach Village, a charming complex of restaurants, shops, and a seasonal pool. Suites are individually furnished with unique architectural details, cozy sitting areas, fireplaces, and balconies. With 23 rooms and a more resort-like feel, it's also the closest of the two to IslandWood, making it especially convenient for wedding guests. As low as $300 / night.

Please let us know if you are interested and we will secure it for you and your family! If I were you, and you weren't staying at IslandWood, then I would rent a waterfront Airbnb for the weekend. You'll have a unique PNW island experience overlooking the Pacific ocean with possible whale, seal, and puffin sitings. Fun fact: Colin, Lindsay, and Jessica saw all three when we stayed on Camano Island for a month in 2020!
