When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We'd appreciate it if you RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, or at the latest by August 20th. You'll be able to scan a QR code on the back of your invitation to submit your RSVP, so no need to mail anything back! We’ll have more instructions once these are sent out. Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-tie and comfortable dancing shoes.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, please don't be offended but we would prefer if it was just you. We promise you'll have a good time.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We sure do. Check out our Travel section on the website for more information on preferred hotels and discount codes.

Will there be a shuttle for the day of?

Answer

No shuttle needed! The venue is easy to walk to and from any of our hotel block options. If you're staying elsewhere, an Uber or Lyft is your best bet.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

YES!! Please send us a note ASAP so we can accommodate your needs.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding will be an adults-only event. While we absolutely love your kids, we’d also love for you to have a night off with us!

What is there to do in Chicago?

Answer

LOTS. Check out our "Things to do, eat and drink" section for some recommendations. We put together a list of some of our favorite things to do around town. You can't go wrong with picking something on that list.

Lyft or Uber?

Answer

We find Lyft to generally be cheaper, but always make sure to check both.

Is Chicago safe?

Answer

YES. Don't be alarmed by headlines. If it's your first time here, we'll be surprised if you’re not already planning a return visit by the end of the weekend.

Deep dish pizza?

Answer

Not our first choice, but if you MUST then go for Pequod’s. That’s what Chicagoans eat. The others are tourist traps.
