NYC and Boston have plenty of direct flights to Lisbon. However it is very easy and possibly cheaper to fly into a bigger city like London or Paris and take a quick/ cheap connecting flight to Lisbon

Transportation/ Credit Cards

We highly recommend renting a car for your travels in Portugal. If this is not something you wish to do- Ubers to the venue from Lisbon are about $30 and 45 min on average. Make sure to have cash handy for much of Portugal. A lot of restaurants and stores do not accept American Express, Discover etc. We have found that Visa is accepted at most places that allow credit cards but having cash as a backup is a must.
