We met in the quad of North Hollywood High through two of our mutual friends. They introduced us and Josh said “hey lil mama can I get your number” and Frances politely declined. What Frances didn’t know was that Josh had been asking his best friend Anthony to introduce them for a few weeks at this point. Josh was immediately infatuated by Frances although he knew that she was completely out of his league. Frances attended the zoo magnet at North Hollywood High but their actual classes were held at the Los Angeles Zoo. Josh always looked for Frances but could never seem to find her until one afternoon at football practice Josh turned around and there was Frances practicing with the cheerleaders.

After high school, they both parted ways, but for some reason they were always reconnected. Josh began coaching football at North Hollywood High so anytime Frances came to visit her best friend who was a cheer coach at the time Josh was there. They both began working at Universal Studios Hollywood. However, they had no idea that they both worked there. One day they ran into each other where they spoke for a few minutes and exchanged phone numbers. They spoke for a few months, but they were both figuring out what life was all about and their conversations began to dwindle. Although they did not talk every day, they knew if either of them called or messaged each other that they will always be there for one another. They would communicate for a short period of time, and then Frances would go silent until Frances took a trip to Las Vegas for her birthday in 2021. Frances made a few posts on Snapchat and Josh sent her a message. Frances told Josh “remember when I said one day we would try. Well let’s try” Josh’s response was “hell yea” Ever since that moment, Frances and Josh have been inseparable.

(Her Perspective) Josh and I officially became boyfriend and girlfriend in August 2021. He lives in NY and I live in Texas so our time together was scarce and few between with our full time jobs and my busy life at home. Long distance was definitely an issue, but we really had to work extra hard to make it work as far as communication and responsiveness with us being so far away from each other. We spent countless hours on the phone (As im sure majority of my annoyed friends know) and traveling back and forth whenever we could. Josh met my family in Thanksgiving and they really hit it off. Everyone in my life was captivated by Josh and how could they not be, he's very honest, forthcoming, and yes you guessed it charming. Things were finally falling into place. This felt so perfect and HEALTHY something I had never experienced before. I could be myself and really didn't have to feel ashamed about anything because this man knew me since I was 15 years old. It was really quite refreshing to me, he changed me and my entire perspective on what I deserved, but never received. So in planning our FIRST Christmas Josh wanted it to be special. He was really planning all these extra things and at the time it was pretty weird. I did investigate, but josh had his bases covered and had my family and my best friend involved. We took the kids to Santas wonderland and he popped the question on the HUGE stage they have. I was completely surprised, it was amazing and magical and all the things I had always imagined for myself. We are so happy and lucky and we can't wait to celebrate our love with everyone! (His perspective) So here we are fall of 2021 and I am in LOVE! No one has ever captivated me like this before! No one has understood me as Frances does. I have a conversation with my brothers Anthony and Caleb, my mom, and my dad. All of them said you know what Josh if she makes you that undeniably happy go for it. So here I am shopping for rings and I realize I have no idea what she likes or even wants as far as a ring. It has to be perfect for her, I needed help, so I call her best friend and we devise a plan regarding ring and proposal plan! After searching long and hard I FINALLY find this ring that I’m in love with! As I am in the store trying to shop I get a phone call…..It's Frances! So I ask the lady assisting me to please give me a minute and I run out of the store in hopes that she doesn’t notice anything via FaceTime. Thankfully, I was able to pull it off and make the purchase without her knowing. However, I was stuck, how am I going to propose? I come up with several different ideas, but I am really stressed out because it had to be perfect and planned perfectly! If you know Frances you know that she pays attention to everything so if she feels like something is off or weird, she's like a dog with a bone and she doesn't let it go- so I had to come up with a fool proof plan. I get her best friend to help me, and we devise a plan to go to Santa’s Wonderland the day after Christmas so all three of our children could be present! I convinced Frances to do this as it was our first Christmas all together and it had to be special. We bought the tickets, and I insisted on matching outfits for the family! Frances was persistent and repeatedly asked me I felt like we had to do all of these things, why was this so important? Little did she know I had an amazing surprise waiting for her. Frances did try to investigate EXTENSIVELY, but I had her best friend and family involved (even some of her closest friends knew)-everyone was able to keep my secret. I asked her family their permission and SHE SAID YES!! After years of searching, I have finally found MY person, it all made sense with her- she was the missing piece of the puzzle, the greatest love I have ever known.
