Church Street is a car-free main shopping street in downtown Burlington. You can find local art and trinket shops, a Lake Champlain Chocolates storefront, and a range of lunch/brunch options.
Citizen Cider
We often stop into Citizen Cider for a "Wits Up" (their ginger cider) or a flight of new flavors when we're in the area. If you find yourself in Burlington this is a great option for lunch or an afternoon snack!
Waterfront Park
Lake Champlain runs along Burlington. This park is a great place to walk, people watch, and sip coffee! If you're feeling very active, you can rent bikes and take on the causeway for even better lake views!
Downtown Montpelier
Montpelier, capital of Vermont, is a quaint Vermont town. If you are looking for a cute town to wander Saturday morning, Montpelier has great "Stars Hollow" vibes. This address brings you to the Bohemian, a bakery that we frequent! We particularly recommend the oat milk cappuccino, the Kouign-amann (Emily), and the ham and cheese croissant (Justin)
Trapp Family Lodge
The Trapp Family Lodge grounds have some of the best panoramic views of Mountains. If you're up for a Stowe based adventure, this is a great stop!
Mount Mansfield Drive
Mount Mansfield, Smuggler's Notch, and other nearby trails in Stowe, offer a nice range of hiking options with some stunning views!

Lawn Games and Other Activities at the Essex
There are activities on the Essex grounds if you are looking for something low key or if you do not have access to a car. These include lawn games, tennis, goats, and garden walks.
