Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the Reception: the dress code is cocktail attire. It is going to be hot so please dress comfortably for the weather but still semi-formal. Ladies are fine in long or short dresses. The venue is turf, not real grass so heels will not be an issue. Men do not need a full suit with tie if you do not wish to wear one. Dress shirt, sport coat and dress pants, linen suits - all acceptable. Please no jeans, shorts, sneakers, t-shirts, short sleeve shirts. For the Welcome Party: The venue is a rooftop cocktail bar in the city. This is not a formal event but still think cocktail attire. Please no jeans or t-shirts. For the Beach day: Beach attire - whatever you are comfortable in. Fully outdoors but shaded and on the beach. Wear your bathing suit if you want to swim!

Can I bring a date?

Please refer to your invitation. If you have a +1 your invite will reflect that noted as 'your name and guest'. For any extenuating circumstances or questions please reach out.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults only events. If you do decide to travel with your little ones, several of the recommended hotels offer babysitting services. Please reach out with any specific questions.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel and accommodations page! We will be staying at the Somewhere Boutique hotel from Thursday 8/15 - Tuesday 8/20. All of the hotels are within 20 minutes of each other (some even right across the street from each other) so please see the accommodations for additional details. We tried to include as many details as possible on the Travel page but we wanted to remind everyone to check the amenities for wherever you are booking, especially for Air Conditioning. It will be very hot in August but it is Europe so AC is not always guaranteed. All of our recommended hotels have AC but keep this in mind if you book elsewhere.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, there will be free valet parking at the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. Please see the schedule of events for the Hotels where you will be picked up. Uber and taxis are also available, but please plan ahead of time due to traffic and other delays. Or, if you have a rental car parking is available onsite. Same applies to the end of the reception, we will have shuttles to the same hotels.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We would love for your to join us during the 2 days leading up to the wedding for some pre-wedding festivities (August 17th & 18th). Our Welcome Party will be on Saturday, August 17th in Athens. We will provide a shuttle into Athens at 6pm from several hotels. Sunday, August 18th we will have an organized beach day (no transportation provided).
