Joshua Tree is a beautiful national park in the desert 2.5 hours outside of Los Angeles. We have been to Joshua Tree a few times before and love the desert landscape, and think it would be an ideal place to have a socially distant ceremony with our immediate family. We'd love to get married closer to home, but we're working with what we have and settled on keeping travel and exposure to a minimum by doing everything at Joshua Tree. We hope you can see the beauty of the park, and why we chose it on our wedding day.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions only our invited immediate family will physically be attending the wedding. We will be sharing a video recording of the ceremony to the rest of our family/friends so they can attend "virtually".
Sadly, we're only having our immediate family attending the in-person ceremony. In the coming months, we will probably see COVID rates decrease but we can only plan for what we know at the moment, and right now that's a small ceremony. We love and miss you all and hope to celebrate with you in person soon!
No. Due to the lack of wifi or service in Joshua Tree National Park is it more reliable to do a recording of the ceremony and share the video with our friends/family after the live event. When you RSVP to the Virtual Ceremony, please provide your email so we can share the video with you.
As of right now, the in-person after party date and location is to be determined. As of right now we are expecting Spring of 2022. We will be keeping an eye on the CDC recommendations and plan accordingly. We want the reception to be a celebration where we can have food, music and dancing, and we're willing to wait to safely see that happen!
