The Summer before their Junior year at CCAD, Haley and Danny had their first conversation on the back porch of an off campus party. They instantly felt a connection, and exchanged phone numbers at the end of the night before parting ways. Though, it took Haley 10 months to reach out to Danny (she had some...stuff to figure out) by striking up a conversation on Facebook about a TED talk he had recently posted (and years later turned out she'd never actually watched). At this point, Haley was in Kansas for the last couple weeks of summer before their senior year. They got to know each other through long conversations online and over the phone, eventually making plans for their first official date upon her return to Columbus, OH. And as they say, the rest is history.
