Best friends since high school and Godmother of the Bride’s son, Luna has weathered the storms of life together with Tara since they were teenagers. There is a saying in Haitian Creole and it’s, “Senkant santim.” While it means 50 cents in English, there’s a deeper meaning in Haitian Creole which is togetherness as if you are two quarters. Long-time friends from church, Tasheilia has always been a steady and constant friend in the bride’s life. Tasheilia also has always been a source of solace and support for the last decade. When the bride and groom began dating, she welcomed him with open arms and has been a loyal friend of the couple’s relationship ever since. Additionally, she’s best brunch buddy ever. Bridesmaid
As former teammates of both the bride and groom at their University’s acrobatics gymnastics team, Sarah is no stranger to the couples relationship. She was initially a friend of the groom during their time in college and while on the team. During the pandemic, however, Sarah’s relationship with the bride organically blossomed into a beautiful friendship. This led to the bride ultimately stealing her away from the groom. Friend of the Groom - long time friend from church, Henry has been one of Daniel’s main friends growing up to the point where they could be brothers. When the couple started dating, he accepted the bride into the circle and also was aided by the bride in his new chapter in the DMV area. Son of the bride, and soon-to-be stepson of the groom, James is a beacon of light in a dark world and one of the bride and groom's biggest supporters. He looks up to the groom as a role model and the two share mutual care for one another.
