As former teammates of both the bride and groom at their University’s acrobatics gymnastics team, Sarah is no stranger to the couples relationship. She was initially a friend of the groom during their time in college and while on the team. During the pandemic, however, Sarah’s relationship with the bride organically blossomed into a beautiful friendship. This led to the bride ultimately stealing her away from the groom. Son of the bride, and soon-to-be stepson of the groom, James is a beacon of light in a dark world and one of the bride and groom's biggest supporters. He looks up to the groom as a role model and the two share mutual care for one another. Conversations often include: all things sports - especially wrestling and basketball, education, sports history/trivia, and answers to all of James' questions about anything.
