Marcus loves Danielle

Unlike most couples, Danielle and I have no idea of the day we met for the first time. We went to the same elementary school, so it was most likely some time when she was in Kindergarten and I was in first grade. It's pretty safe to say we didn't know at first sight that we'd be together for life. Fast forward a bit: the summer after she graduated high school, we danced to a couple songs at the Johnny Holm Band concert at the county fair and then went our separate ways. It was our first spark of being together, but again, we never would have guessed our future at that time. Fast forward one more time to the present: I can't imagine my life without Danielle. I have a hard time putting into a short paragraph how thankful I am for her and who she is as a person. She has stuck with me through so much. The ride certainly hasn't always been smooth, but take a look at some of our old pictures on the "Photos" tab of our website and you'll see a glimpse into our fantastic, growing collection of memories. Looking into the future never fails to make me smile as I think about the memories still to be made. I love being able to partner with Danielle and can't wait to see what happens as we grow our careers, family, and most importantly, our relationship. - Marcus

Danielle loves Marcus

In many ways our relationship has been defined by our location and surroundings. We have lived in 5 cities throughout the course of our 8 year relationship; we both completed undergraduate and graduate degrees, we bought a house, brought home two puppies, made tons of friends along the way, started our careers, etc. Through all the life changes, Marcus has been my constant. He is “home”. He is my confidante, my best friend, my family. Even after this long, I truly miss him when we are not together, even for just a short time. I love and accept all of his qualities (yes- including the competitive sports fanatic in him)! He has dedicated his life and time to helping the people around him, both in his professional and personal life. We all know Marcus is amazing, accomplished, impressive, but most of all he is humble about those things; that is very special. He sees the best in me, but not only that – he challenges me see the best in myself. We are growing and evolving together and will absolutely continue to do so throughout our lives. We are in it together for the long haul. All of the twists and turns in our relationship have led us to develop very sincere and deep mutual respect and communication. We want to keep bettering ourselves in support of each other. That’s what I think love is – truth, respect, and a desire to grow together in love as life continues to move forward. -Danielle
