FAQs

We want your experience to be easy, comfortable, and stress-free. Here are a few helpful answers to common questions so you can focus on what matters most—celebrating with us.
Question

Q: What’s the dress code?

Answer

A: Boho western chic! Dressy casual dresses, slacks with a button-down and tie or sports jacket. Boots and cowboy hats welcome. Please no jeans or sneakers.

Question

What shoes should you wear to the ceremony?

Answer

Since both the ceremony and reception will be on grass, we recommend choosing shoes that won’t get damaged and avoiding heels that may be difficult to walk in.

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport (CHA) – 40 mi north of Calhoun; Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) – 67 mi

Question

Q: Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

A: If your invitation includes a guest, we’d love to have them! Otherwise, we’re keeping things intimate with a small guest list.

Question

What transportation is available?

Answer

Ubers are widely available in the area, so we recommend using them to and from the hotels or carpooling. There is also plenty of parking available at the wedding venue.

Question

Q: Are kids welcome?

Answer

A: Yes! Our own little ones are in the wedding, and we’d love to have yours celebrate with us too.

Question

Q: What’s the weather like in November?

Answer

A: Expect cool, crisp fall weather—highs in the 60s, lows in the 40s. We recommend bringing layers, especially for the evening.

Question

Q: What time should I arrive?

Answer

A: Please arrive 15–30 minutes before the ceremony begins so we can start on time and you don’t miss a thing!

Question

Q: Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

A: We’re asking guests to unplug and be present with us during the ceremony—our photographer will have it covered. Snap away at the reception though!

Question

Q: Is the ceremony outdoors?

Answer

A: Yes—it’ll be held outside on private property. Keep that in mind when choosing shoes (think grass and gravel)!

Question

Q: Where should I stay?

Answer

A:We’ll share hotel recommendations, room block details, and local Airbnb options in the Travel section of our website.

Question

Q: Will transportation be provided?

Answer

A: Parking is available onsite, but no transportation will be provided. Please plan accordingly

Question

Q: Are there any other events?

Answer

A: Yes! Join us for a welcome party the night before—casual vibes, wings, and cold beer. Dress comfy! We’ll also be hanging out before and after the wedding doing fun, low-key activities as a family, and you’re more than welcome to join us. The more, the merrier!

Question

Q: Where are you registered?

Answer

A: Instead of a traditional registry, we’ve created a honeymoon fund to help us make some unforgettable memories.

Question

Q: Will there be food and drinks at the wedding?

Answer

A: Yes! We’ll have dinner, drinks, and dessert to celebrate after the ceremony. Come hungry and ready to party!

Question

Q: Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

A: Yes, everything will be held at the same beautiful property—no need to travel between events.
