Are kids invited?

Answer

Absolutely! We'll make sure to include them on the invitations if they are invited. Please don't feel pressured to bring them with you. We'd love for you to have a night off without the kids if you'd like!

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code?

Semi-formal dress code, please. The ceremony will be outdoors on grass so please make sure to dress for the weather as needed. November in Virginia can be chilly!

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Absolutely! There are paved pathways to allow our guests to access the ceremony and reception space at Arbor Haven.

What's the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

The venue is about 15 minutes by car from our hotel block. We recommend reserving an Uber or driving. There will be plenty of parking on site!

What type of food will you be serving?

Answer

We've got you covered! We'll have appetizers during the cocktail hour as well as BBQ for dinner! Top that off with an open bar and some sweets throughout the night.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Can we take pictures during the cermony?

Answer

We ask that you please refrain from using your phones during our ceremony as we will have an unplugged ceremony. Don't worry! The ceremony will be short and you can resume scrolling your social feeds during the cocktail hour.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience. We've set up our registry to send gifts directly to us as well.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will promptly start at the time listed on the invitation so please make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
