Meredith and Brandon met online through the dating app Bumble in April 2021. Brandon posted several pictures of his dog Dexter, who is truly man's best wingman. Shortly after Meredith messaged Brandon, they felt a strong connection and started talking non-stop. Just two weeks later they met for their first date at a park in Downtown Fredericksburg. They made it official and the rest was history!

It was a sunny Tuesday afternoon in the middle of the summer and Brandon asked Meredith to take Dexter on a hike after work. Meredith agreed as long as they could go for some drinks at their favorite brewery after, Adventure Brewing Co. The two embarked on the hike and while Brandon was adamant about taking a specific portion of the trail, Meredith thought it was in another direction and they continued walking. It turned out Brandon had a spot in mind to propose! Fast forward to drinks after the hike, they were completely by themselves. Brandon felt it was the perfect spot to ask Meredith to spend the rest of her life with him, and of course she said yes!
