While we encourage you to get out and take advantage of everything to do in Leelanau, you can choose to spend your time hanging out at the resort as well. There are non-motorized boats, hiking trails, shuffleboard and tennis courts, corn hole, a game room, and private access to Lake Leelanau for swimming!
Northern Michigan's commercial fishing heritage remains alive today in Leland's Fishtown! Walk along the docks, amongst the weathered fishing shanties, smokehouses, racks of drying fishing nets, and fish tugs on the Leland River. Many of the shanties now house delightful gift and clothing boutiques, art galleries and specialty food shops.
Located at the tip of the little finger on the beautiful Leelanau Peninsula, Leelanau State Park has more than 1519 acres waiting for visitors to explore. The park showcases the Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum.
Go shopping in downtown Sutton’s Bay!
This peninsula sticks out into Grand Traverse Bay and ends with a beautiful lighthouse. Take the 30-mile drive for beautiful views... and past more than ten wineries! Chateau Chantal is one of the best.
