Before online dating was officially a thing and you couldn't just swipe right. Felicia saw a picture of Erik on a mutual friends social media and decided to shoot her shot! They didn't actually meet until Their first date, which by the way lasted 12 hours! They started off at the beach with some sandwiches and ended with dinner and cocktails.12 hours later... best first date ever!!

After discovering a mutual love of coffee, music (maybe not the same kind of music) and each other, it wasn’t long before Felicia and Erik decided to they wanted to move from one coast to another! So they packed all of their belongings into Erik's 4Runner for an epic 4 week cross-country road trip to their new home in San Diego.

Erik and Felicia had a trip to Moab, Utah planned for months. In October they flew to Colorado to meet their great friends Dana & Eric. The two couples embarked on a 5 hour road trip to Moab for the weekend. On the second day of their trip they visited Arches National Park. After exploring nearly all of the park, they made one final stop at the Double Arch. After hiking to the top to take in the beauty and bouldering back down Dana had suggested taking some couples photos. As Felicia and Erik were posing for photos Erik got down on one knee. It took Felicia a moment to realize what was actually going on and after what seemed like an eternity to Erik, he asked, "Will you spend the rest of your life with me?" To which Felicia replied "YES, of course!"
