What is the dress code?

Answer

The wedding attire is cocktail attire. We encourage fun pops of color to light up February. Though the reception will be tented, we encourage everyone to bring jackets. Bridesmaids will be in sage/eucalyptus green.

What if we know we are unable to attend the wedding, prior to the official RSVP?

Answer

Please let us know at your earliest convenience if you are unable to attend. Please email carla@sauerwein.com (bride's mother) with your name, guest count who cannot attend.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are having an indoor ceremony. Our cocktail hour is planned to be outdoors, bringing a jacket is encouraged. The wedding reception will be tented, outdoors.

Are children invited?

Answer

Although we adore your children, we have elected to limit the reception to adults only. As we know many of our guests are traveling from out of town and will be bringing children, please let us know if you plan to bring your children to the wedding ceremony as our capacity is 200.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average high/low in February in Oceanside is 65 degrees/45 degrees, with often overcast and chilly mornings, sun in the afternoon, and chilly evenings. We encourage jackets /light sweaters and layers for the evening.

When should we book our hotel / housing?

Answer

The weekend is during a double holiday weekend - Valentines Day and President's Day. We recommend booking ASAP.
