This is where Erik and Farrell + close family/some of the wedding party are staying. There is NO ROOM BLOCK as these are individual cottages. First come, first served! The beautiful estate is where the Wedding Reception will be held. We highly recommend finding one of the homes you love on the Estate and renting with friends. Each home comes with WiFi, fridge, TV + many more amenities. There is a grocery store, coffee shop, bank and other places down the hill, walking distance from the property. We recommend guests stop at the grocery on the way in, stock their fridge, pack a cooler for the beach/pool and enjoy the stay on the island!
Travel Note
What to Pack/Bring: *PASSPORT! *A NEGATIVE COVID TEST! You will need this as proof of entry into the country before traveling 10-days prior. Please stay up to date on travel regulations as they are changing. *A MASK! Most places will require a mask for entry but then you can remove it. *A go with the flow perspective! Literally, most things on the island will rarely go as planned. Cash - US dollars are accepted. Most places are cash only. The island is 1/3 more expensive than normal US pricing, please be aware of this when budgeting for your trip. There is an ATM in Governors Harbour. Beach Bag Sunscreen Bug spray* Sunglasses Flip flops / crocs (lol) Snorkel Gear/Diving Gear (if you plan to snorkel or dive :) you can also rent from the dive shop in Governors Harbour. Frozen Meat - this may sound strange but Eleuthera has to import most of its meat. If you are staying a week +, we recommend checking a cooler (yes, you can do this!) with meat for grilling / whatever you want to do.

This resort is right down the street from Squires Estate. Walking distance. Still right in the mix of everything! They offer adorable Villas. It is a beautiful and luxurious Marriott property. We recommend French Leave if you are wanting a more luxurious vacation feel.

Pineapple Fields is also right up the street from Squires Estate, a 5-8 minute drive. They offer 1 or 2 bedroom condos for rent. Tippy's, the restaurant with Pineapple Fields, is one of our absolute favorite restaurants on the island! We recommend guests stop at the grocery on the way in, stock their fridge, pack a cooler for the beach/pool and enjoy the stay on the island!

Note: this is about 35/40 minutes North from where our festivities are taking place. If you are looking to make your stay for our wedding more luxurious, The Cove is for you. Please keep in mind that there are very little street lights on the island and it gets very dark at night.

If you wish to stay some place that we have not listed, please use AirBNB to look on the island. Any other island - such as Harbour Island, will require a ferry rental to get to Eleuthera. The ferry stops running late afternoon. Please use google maps to research where you are looking! We recommend AirBnBs in Governors Harbour.
Flight
There are only 3 airports on Eleuthera Island. For North Eleuthera Airport (the biggest): ELH airport is situated near the Harbour Island in the north. This airport has the most flight options, so it is worth checking out. We've flown United, Silver Airways and Delta both with connections in Ft. Lauderdale and Atlanta before arriving to ELH. It is about 35/40 minutes from the Squires Estate. This is where we will be flying in. Car rental companies will meet you at any airport but you MUST call before you arrive. *We recommend booking flights as soon as possible as there are very few flights into Eleuthera each day.*

If you don't wish to fly directly to Eleuthera Island, you can fly to Nassau. Once at Nassau, you will need to make reservations on one of three local carriers (Bahamas Air, Pineapple Air and Southern Air). You will need to book the smaller charter prior to landing in Nassau. All three airlines fly to Eleuthera Island and there are regular scheduled services for the 20 minute flight in the morning, afternoon and evening. *note: if you do not like flying, this option may not be for you! Stanton is great and we use him every time we travel to the Island. He has a team of drivers & cars and can pick you up from any airport or leave you a rental car. You will need to call him in advance. He takes cash upfront.
