Sorry, but if your formal invite did not say "You and a Guest," you do not have a plus one. We have to be strict on this due to covid

Can you use US Dollars in the Bahamas?

Answer

US dollars are accepted in The Bahamas as currency. You can spend US dollars freely, but will most probably receive Bahamian dollars in change, which can not be spent in the US. The island is 1/3 more expensive than normal US pricing, please be aware of this when budgeting for your trip.
