Newport is a super fun summer destination, and we're hoping that folks will consider making a long-weekend out of the trip. On Saturday, the ceremony will begin at 5:30pm at Regatta Place (5 Marina Plaza, Newport, RI 02840) and be followed by cocktails, dinner and dancing at the same location. We have planned a couple of casual, optional activities for Friday night and Sunday afternoon for those of you that are planning to stay the weekend. The details are below. We appreciate your letting us know if you can make it to these events (see the “Rsvp for Fri/Sun events" tab) by 15 August. We also encourage you to peruse our suggestions for some quintessential Newport sites and activities on the “Things to do" tab. Newport is in full swing this time of year, and we hope you'll be able to advantage of your time here!

We will be coming from our rehearsal dinner and estimate arriving 9ish. If you happen to beat us, just tell the bartender that you're with Meg/Tomasz, slap on the wristband that s/he gives you, and start runnin' up that tab! With apologies to your kiddos, this isn't a child-friendly bar. That said, the website weirdly forces us to list their names for both events in order to include them in the Sun BBQ. Sorry for any confusion!
