The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a great twist on a regular zoo. The park features traditional enclosures, a few walk-through exhibits (lemurs, kangaroos, wallabies), as well as the Africa Tram to experience animals in a safari setting.
The San Diego Zoo is located in Balboa Park and features more than 4,000 animals and over 800 species. It is one of the most famous zoos in the world!
Balboa Park is home to museums, gardens, trails, and performing art venues. It's a great way to spend a day in San Diego.
San Diego is known for their incredible Beaches and surround hiking trails. You can visit Coronado, Mission Beach, Mission Bay, La Jolla Cove, Del Mar, and Torrey Pines. Each area also has some great local eateries!
Legoland is located about 30 minutes north of San Diego. If you have kids, it is an incredible amusement park.
Julian is located in the beautiful Cuyamaca mountains about 30 minutes from Ramona. Take a step back in time to the days of Julian’s beginning rooted in the 1870’s gold rush and sample some of Julian's famous apple pie.
As our personal favorite place to go, it was only fitting that Disneyland gets mentioned. If you are in Orange County, the Disneyland Resort features Disneyland Park, Disney's California Adventures Park, and the Downtown Disney shopping and dining district.
