Any guests that are not fully vaccinated, including kids, will be required to wear a mask when not seated at their table, including when approaching the bar, using the restrooms, and entering/exiting the restaurant.
Currently we meet all their covid precautions policies so this portion is a go! Everyone is required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status and we fit either capacity requirements.
This has to be the most frequent question we receive. The names Fake and Mess are fantastic names, individually. Together they form a worse version of both, like a punchline that just missed the mark. Combined they are only good for things like hashtags #fakemess. We both love our names and are not planning to change them right now.
Full suits of armor only.
If you own a full suit of armor, please wear it. For those of you that do not, please feel free to dress in "nice casual" attire. We are hoping to keep this relatively lowkey, so you're welcome to wear whatever makes you most comfortable, plus a mask if you're unvaccinated. That can be a dress, slacks and button down, or jeans and a tee. If it matters for your planning, we will have an awesome professional photographer there to document and immortalize baller outfits.

It doesn't actually change the answer regardless if this question was meant for Camie or Jessica. The answer is the same and it is nope, neither of us are lesbians. We both identify as bi (short for bisexual and the B in LGBTQ+) which means we find attraction in more than one gender. We are thrilled to be able to bond over this shared trait of being bi and having dated both men and women previously. This also provides the added perk of being able to admire hot celebrities together regardless of gender. However, we won't be upset if you call us a lesbian couple... we get that's just easier. And if you want to get into the nuances of pan vs. bi vs. all the naming conventions out there, then let's grab dinner and get philosophical.

That is Camie's first name. Her preferred name is Camie, a nickname provided to her shortly after birth based on her initials C.A.M. since there were multiple Carolyns in her family already.
We have decided not to have a bridal party. While Jessica enjoyed the idea of having the power to make our friends wear literally anything we wanted them to wear... Camie convinced her not to be completely evil. So some of you can be thanking Camie you're not in hoopskirts, superhero cosplay, or something more extreme.
The Main Event (The Local) = street parking. Pinball (Decades Arcade) = parking lot, but this is also an 8 minute walk from The Local so you can leave your car and walk if you have the interest and appropriate shoes!

Early October is a lovely time of year, historical highs in Charlottesville is 71 degrees and lows are 50. We advise you check the weather just beforehand to see if it will rain and the general forecast. The Local and Decades Arcade are both indoor events technically, but windows will be wide open at The Local so you'll want to dress for outdoor temperatures for that portion.
