Welcome to our website! Check out the tabs for vital information about pinball. Also the wedding. We don't have all the answers on the pandemic, nor can we guarantee circumstances will not change between now and then. We will keep you all updated, please review the 'schedule' and 'faq' pages for more information. Also, we absolutely understand if you're unable to attend for any reason at all, covid-19 related or otherwise.
It was May 25, 2013 and Camie juggled fire much to the awe and wonder of the rest of the bonfire attendees. That was the first time Jessica noticed Camie... however Jessica did not juggle anything and therefore Camie did not notice her in return. Over the next few years, we met and interacted through mutual friends from the local roller derby team, the Charlottesville Derby Dames (CDD). Jessica aka Boob-onic Plague had retired before Camie aka Midwest Mess joined the team. Other than Jessica thinking Camie was really darn cute and noticing her for a little too long whenever she walked by, nothing came of it until... Early March 2018, while in pajamas (most of our best moments happen while in pajamas) Jessica decided that she didn't know Camie at all, but would like to get to know her much better. So seemingly out-of-the-blue, Jessica asked Camie to join her on a date to dinner and the new Pinball Arcade grand opening night. Camie said no. First off, Camie was caught off guard. She would never just ask out someone she barely knows so this was a complete surprise. Second, Camie needed a little more time out of her prior relationship. However, Camie was intrigued and wanted to get to know Jessica better so they spent time together at a local 5K race and the CDD pancake fundraiser that weekend. They continued to talk daily and soon enough they set up an evening to hang out one-on-one, but per Camie it was most definitively, surely, and completely "NOT A DATE". Thus our "Not-A-Date-iversary" was born on March 20, 2018. That evening, Camie turned to Jessica and said "I want you to know...I love bread, cheese, and red wine. If you don't like those things, this probably will not work out" to which Jessica responded with "We're going to be just fine".
