St. Martin's Island is Bangladesh’s only coral island. Located in the northeastern Bay of Bengal, this 3-square-kilometer tropical gem features crystal-clear waters, coconut-fringed beaches, and fresh seafood. January is the best time to visit. The Bay of Bengal is calm, the weather is clear and comfortably cool (22–28°C at sea level), visibility underwater is best for snorkelling, and overnight stays are allowed.
Sylhet division is known for the tea gardens and unique natural wonders. The landscape features rare biodiversity, including the Ratargul Swamp Forest (one of the few freshwater swamp forests in the world) and Jaflong, where cascading rivers and stone collections meet the foothills of India.
