Matron of Honor
Danielle and Faith met in their early 20s in California through mutual friends. They quickly bonded over their mutual love for all things arts and crafts. Soon after learning they had very similar interests they were attached at the hip. Dan recently married the love of her life, Jack, and together they have three dogs. A regular day with Dan and Faith consists of talking about the dogs, wedding planning together, dog park dates, yoga and the beach. Faith loves Dan for her honesty, the way she can make her laugh, their commitment to always better their friendship, and for all the love and kindness they get to share with each other. They have really shown each other what commitment in a friendship looks like, which made it a no-brainer for Faith to have Danielle as her Matron of Honor.
Maid of Honor
Kaitlin (a.k.a Cuds) and Faith met in their early 20s in California. Faith moved in with Kaitlin, and they became fast friends. They lived together at a house they called “Colgate,” for five years, and essentially grew up together. They’ve had the opportunity to walk through several phases of their lives, the good and bad. Kaitlin has a dog named Zoey that grew up with Faith’s dog, Luna. Zoey and Luna love romping around and sleeping in any backyard they can find. Kaitlin has always been that type of friend who has your back no matter what, even if it causes a bit of a ruckus. Faith has always loved Kaitlin for her ability to pull out those can’t-breathe-belly-laughs, her generosity, kindness, and overall passion for life. Faith knows she will make a wonderful, caring bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid
Faith and Liz met in California in their early 20s. Liz was one of Faith’s first roommates. They lived the dream a block from the ocean before Liz moved home to Oregon. Liz is one of those friends who you call when you need someone to listen to you and to have long, meaningful conversations with. She is the kindest person you will ever meet, and is nice to everyone. Liz and Faith spent everyday together before she moved to Oregon where she met the love of her life, Eben. Shortly after they got married they moved to Michigan and had their first child together, Sophia. Faith often wishes Liz lived closer, because she is such an amazing person to be around. You can’t help but feel happy when you are around Liz! Faith is beyond excited to have Liz and Eben back in California for the wedding
Bridesmaid
Alicia and Faith didn’t know each other until she moved into the house Alicia was living in with three other women, including Kaitlin. Faith and Alicia’s friendship started out slow, as they are both quiet. They have a mutual love for three very important things: TV’s Big Brother, candy and frozen yogurt. It led them to take several trips to the candy store, and Yogurtland together. They endured many silent car rides before they finally became extremely close. Faith loves quality time with Alicia, and has always admired so much about her, including but not limited to her smarts, drive, sense of humor, and being an amazing mom. Alicia recently moved to Kansas with her boyfriend Josh, and their beautiful baby, Ophelia. Faith looks forward to having them here for the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Faith and Sarah also met in California where they lived together in Newport Beach before Sarah moved home to Oregon. Although there is physical distance between them, they have remained very close through the years. They often loved a night of watching movies, snuggling and falling asleep on the couch. Sarah has always been the best at providing good advice, and being a good listener. She is wise beyond her years which has always presented itself in long and meaningful conversations. Faith loves visiting Oregon to see her two friends, as well as Sarah’s family, who she has always felt apart of. Last year Sarah got married to the love of her life, Cory, and most recently got a cute dog together. Faith looks forward to having her two best friends from Oregon back together for the wedding.
Best Man
Martin and Aaron met in 2013 in California where they became roommates. Over the years they stuck together though several different homes, growing their friendship at every turn. They have walked through several periods of their lives together, and most recently Aaron followed Martin and Faith to Long Beach where they now are neighbors. Aaron has always been a great friend, full of a lot of fun, and spontaneity ensues when they’re together. Martin has always felt really comfortable around Aaron, and his trust in him has always been a huge factor in their relationship. For these reasons, asking Aaron to be Martin’ best man was a no-brainer.
Groomsman
Jeff and Martin grew up in the same town, but they didn’t meet until high school. Martin will say that this is one of his most formative relationships, his brother. Through thick and thin, the two remained loyal to each other and still are to this day. Rosemary, Jeff’s wife and high school sweetheart, has made it a package deal from the beginning. That package has since added two daughters, Brooklyn and Kennedy, who love their “Uncle” Martin. Eventually Faith and Martin will get those Disneyland passes they keep talking about and join the rest of the family at the Happiest Place On Earth.
Groomsman
Martin may ( it’s debatable) have been the first person John remembers meeting as he arrived in California from New York, and they clearly took a liking to each other. The two lived together over the years and grew alongside each other. Whether it was screaming at the TV during basketball games (video games and live) or random adventures in their younger days, Hobbs has always been a true friend, no questions asked. While they don’t get to see each other as often as they would like since John lives back in New York, they catch up frequently. This will be an exciting time because it is the first time they will be together in a while.
Groomsman
Martin and Andrew met at the spry age of 10 when Andrew moved in just down the block. After riding his bike to see who the new neighbors were, Martin was introduced to another bike riding, video game-playing, card-collecting kid and the rest is history. They spent endless amounts of times together growing up which only consisted of two very important parental rules (that were implemented quite immediately): no calling the house before 7:30am and sleepover were not unlimited. The boys have stayed friends through the ups and downs of high school and later lives in other states, but whenever everyone is in town it is always a good time.
Groomsman
Martin and Zach met in Los Angeles in their early 20s during an interesting time in their lives. Zach instantly became one of Martin’s closest friends and sounding board... and still is to this day. Whether near or far, Zach currently lives in San Francisco, they keep each other up-to-date on all the happenings in their lives. Zach, being an avid traveler, has more interesting tales to tell, including how he met the love of his life, Pia, in Thailand a few summers ago. While the two can disagree often, they definitely can agree on one thing, no one wants to eat the same thing every day.
