Martin and Faith met in California in their early twenties through mutual friends. Martin came to visit Faith’s house on a regular basis, often visiting friends, and bringing treats for the dogs. It wasn’t love at first sight, although Martin likes to joke that it was, but Faith just didn’t see it. For the next three years, Martin continued to ask Faith out and she continued to say no....until one day she didn’t. Martin took Faith to a hockey game on their first date, and the rest is history. Since the two were already familiar with each other, they knew being polar opposites was going to be a challenge, but they were up for it. Now Martin and Faith have an endless list of reasons that have made their love for each other grow. Martin says he loves Faith’s caring nature towards everyone, especially himself. He loves the love, friendship, and bond she has with her family, her killer dance moves, the importance of a solid skincare routine that is typically forced most nights, that she has taught him that kindness goes far in life, her sense of individuality, that she will be an amazing mother in their future, and that she is already a great dog mom. For Faith, Martin has always been a pillar in her late twenties. She has leaned on him in some of her hardest moments. She loves his drive for life and getting things done, and that he has always been a man of his word. Martin’s generosity has always astonished Faith, he is the type of guy who will give his last dollar in his wallet to someone in need. His sense of humor can get him in trouble with Faith at times, but she loves when he makes her laugh. He has taught Faith not to take life so seriously, which she is eternally grateful while battling her health issues. They both look forward to a lifetime of happiness, and starting a family together. They can’t wait to embark on what the future holds for the two of them, and they look forward to the ride.
